Ntombikayise's Story I first became interested in coding when I started noticing how much technology is transforming different industries, including health and wellness. With my background in Biokinetics, I saw how digital tools and data-driven platforms can create solutions that improve both business processes and people’s everyday lives. That made me curious about what happens behind the scenes and how these tools are actually built. Over time, this curiosity grew into a real interest in learning to code so I can combine my knowledge of health and corporate systems with practical tech skills to create meaningful solutions.

🙋‍♀️ Ntombikayise's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from both personal curiosity and career growth. On a personal level, I’ve always been interested in how websites and apps are created, and I want to gain the skills to bring my own ideas to life instead of just being a user. At the same time, I see coding as a valuable tool to strengthen my career path. With my background in Biokinetics and interest in the corporate side of health and wellness, I believe coding can help me contribute to digital solutions, data-driven projects, and innovative platforms that connect technology with people’s needs. SheCodes feels like the right space for me to learn because it offers a supportive community while challenging me to build practical skills that I can apply in real-world settings.

🤹‍♀️ Ntombikayise's Hobbies

In my free time, I enjoy staying active and exploring different ways to keep both the body and mind balanced. I like activities such as fitness and outdoor walks, but I also enjoy more creative and relaxing hobbies like reading, learning new skills online, and exploring technology. I find it fun to try out things that challenge me, whether it’s discovering a new workout routine, experimenting with a new recipe, or learning something that sparks my curiosity.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
