Molebogeng's Story I became interested in coding when I came across web design and front-end coding a few years ago. I thought it was such a great concept, especially for small business owners who are trying to grow their portfolios. I wanted to start making web sites for them but I could not find the perfect programme that brought all the concepts together for me and was affordable.

🙋‍♀️ Molebogeng's Motivation

I have seen that most of the industries are being digitalised. I want to ensure that I secure my future by having programming skills, as this will ensure that I can adapt and be a competitive candidate in the industry one day. SheCodes provides women like me with this opportunity, and I think it is the best platform to use as it not only equips women with the programming skills but also the knowledge on how to find work opportunities post completion of the certification.

🤹‍♀️ Molebogeng's Hobbies

I enjoy reading quite a bit. I love African literature and reading books written by African authors. It feels like a reassuring hug a lot of the time. I am also into beauty, I can do hair, nails and lashes. It is a fun skill that I get to enjoy with my friends and my sisters as they all love looking beautiful. I have also gotten into drawing recently, I did visual arts in highschool and I am trying to tap into that again.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
