Happiness 's Story I once went to a job interview where they needed a computer operator( since i have a computer certification on sectarial duties) i decided to apply only to be told they needed someone who codes, perhaps if i had a little knowledge about it i wouldn't have lost out on that job opportunity. Then recently my daughter who is 8 started learning at school I got fascinated and so much interested in learning.

🙋‍♀️ Happiness 's Motivation

I got motivated to learn with She codes because I need to understand more about coding to improve my job skills and hopefully use it to access a better life for my family, as I am a single parent ( widowed) with 5children( 3 biologically mine) I am a teacher. The tech world is gradually taking over, In the country where I live most employers would prefer people who understands programming to a novice ( Shecodes i read have overtime built a reputation for itself with so many testimonials on the Internet)and moreso, paying for coding classes at this stage of my life is a luxury I can't afford.

🤹‍♀️ Happiness 's Hobbies

I love to read, do humanitarian services, travel, teach.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
