Gugulethu's Story I first became interested in coding through seeing how many opportunities exist in the tech world. I started watching videos, seeing social media content, and hearing stories from people who changed their lives through tech. The creativity behind building websites, apps, and digital tools really caught my attention. I’ve always enjoyed learning new things, especially anything that challenges me, and coding feels like a skill that can help me grow personally and professionally. The idea of being able to create something from scratch a website, a program, or a digital solution is what inspired me to finally pursue coding seriously.

My motivation for learning how to code comes from wanting to improve my career opportunities and create a better future for myself and my family. I have always been interested in digital skills, but I never had the chance or resources to study them properly. Learning how to code will open new doors for me, especially in a world where technology is growing so fast. I want to gain skills that can help me work remotely, earn a better income, and build projects that solve real problems in my community. I’m also motivated by the idea of becoming a woman in tech and inspiring other young girls to learn digital skills. SheCodes feels like the perfect place to start because of the support, structure, and opportunities they provide.

I enjoy creating digital content, learning new skills online, spending time with family, and exploring creative activities like designing, reading, and watching inspiring videos. I also enjoy working on personal development and discovering new ideas that help me grow.
