Grace's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how much technology powers the apps and platforms we use every day. The idea of being able to create something functional from just a few lines of code fascinated me, and it made me want to learn how things actually work behind the screen.

🙋‍♀️ Grace's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to build the skills I need to transition into the tech industry. I’m drawn to tech because it’s constantly evolving and opens up opportunities to solve real-world problems in creative ways. SheCodes feels like the right place to start this journey because it provides a supportive environment, hands-on projects, and a community of women who are also breaking into tech

🤹‍♀️ Grace's Hobbies

make bad puns, great wraps, and mediocre attempts at pottery. When I’m not making stuff, I’m reverse-engineering how apps work, playing strategy games, or filming short clips for social. I enjoy creative challenges and figuring out how small changes can make big improvements.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
