Glory's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how powerful technology is in solving everyday problems. I often wondered how websites and apps were created, and that curiosity led me to explore HTML. The more I learnt, the more I enjoyed the process of turning an idea into something real using code. That experience sparked my passion for learning programming more deeply and considering tech as a career path.

I am motivated to learn how to code with SheCodes because I want to build practical digital solutions and gain skills that will make me globally competitive in the tech industry. Technology is transforming every profession, and acquiring coding skills will give me the ability to create, innovate, and contribute to solving real-world problems. SheCodes specifically offers a supportive learning environment designed for women, which inspires confidence, community, and growth. The structured curriculum, hands-on projects, and mentoring opportunities will help me transition from being a tech learner to a tech creator. I believe that gaining coding skills will open new career pathways—such as remote work, freelancing, and entrepreneurship—allowing me to achieve financial independence and make a positive impact in my community. Ultimately, learning to code through SheCodes is a step toward empowering myself and other women around me, proving that we can lead and excel in technology.

Glory's coding training

Glory has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 SheCodes Plus includes these coding workshops:
1. Basics Coding Workshop (3 weeks)
2. Basics Add-on (1 week)
3. Plus Coding Workshop (8 weeks)
4. Plus Add-on (2 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
