elodie's Story I first stumbled on coding through learning how to design websites on WordPress. It was like a whole new language, and I felt I would never understand. By using notion, I found it less scary than previously and want to know as much as I can to be proficient.

🙋‍♀️ elodie's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code comes from my exposure to web design and notion. I've always appreciated how technology makes our lives easier and found I loved coding automations that made previous endeavors troublesome a lot easier and enjoyable and feel this can be shared with others to make their endeavors just as fluid. What drew me to Shecode was the initiative to help women in developing communities to learn to code and empower them through their life choices so they are not left behind as there is so much that software engineering and IT has to develop in the next of 5 to 10 years and now women can be a part of it. Ultimately, I want to gain the skill to be proficient in data science as I believe it is the core to solving some of our greatest issues especially in developing countries that are faced with so much lack.

One of my hobbies is wasting my time on notion trying to figure methods to better automate my daily planner. Haha... Honestly, I love reading and writing. It is very close to my heart.
